While on a visit to a tv station, Judy Garland is surprised to find herself the subject of a "Celebrity Story" episode. Joined by daughter Liza and friends Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, the four take us on a musical journey through their (and some of our) lives via 24 well known songs associated with each of them..

Harris is a Broadway lyricist and one hit wonder whose years of work have gone nowhere.  Jason accidentally discovers that if Harris is dead, it all becomes valuable.  He and a reluctant Kim come up with a plan to cash in.

Roles:
Harris: Bright, witty retiree – play 70s
Maggie: Harris’s sister, no-nonsense lady – play 60s-70s
Kim: Harris’s neighbor, sweet, naïve – play 20s-30s
Jason: Kim’s boyfriend, street smart schemer – play 20s-30s

The Puzzle with the Piazza

While septuagenarian Althea Witlin is showing her house to Leif, a prospective buyer, (poor health is causing her to move in with her younger sister) they come across the one 3000 piece jigsaw puzzle among her large collection that she’s been afraid to work. With his encouragement, they dump the puzzle onto a table, and thus begins a gentle, bittersweet comedy/drama about the fragility of family ties and the often much stronger bonds of friendship that lattice the final years of our lives.

The ladies try to assure Annie that everything will be fine but she will not be comforted. During the long night that follows, pasts will be dredged up; old wounds opened; secrets and animosities revealed, but as with all close friends, facing up to unpleasant truths can be just what is needed to realize how much they truly need and love each other.
